Pico Maccario – Gavi de Gavi

Made from Cortese grapes grown in the historical part of the Gavi village area in the heart of the appellation and from the best vineyards. It’s one of the most successful and appreciated wine from Piemonte.
A characterful wine, it has complex aromas on the nose with notes of citrus, fennel and some spiciness. On the palate initially creamy with fresh minerality and a long pleasant, energetic finish. A refreshing spring and summer sipper!  A classic Gavi di Gavi – at its best served simply with grilled white fish or as an aperitif
