Pico Maccario – Mia Barbaresco

Based in the famous Piedmont region of northwestern Italy, Pico Maccario is taking a modern approach to both vineyard management and production of their wines.
Mia Barbaresco DOCG is a medium body wine, transparent garnet colour showing immediately the  Intense red fruits notes on the nose, followed by aromas of flowers and forest floor. Dominant strawberry and red currants palate following by a silky but pronounced tannin. Finishes with wild berries and a mineral but juicy aftertaste. Well balanced and elegant. Food friendly.
