Donnachiara, founded in 2005, is distinguished for its traditions, its modern appeal and its determination to preserve the best traditions of the Avellino region, which has been producing wine since the Roman era. The Petitto family, have produced brilliant, results for five generations, through their dedication to correct practices in the vineyards and the cellar with their wines being a true expression of the ‘made in Avellino’ stamp.

PROVENANCE

The Aglianico grapes come from the volcanic soils of Taurasi, in Irpinia, Campania. in the South of Italy.

TASTE PROFILE

An intense ruby red colour with violet nuances, this wine offers a full and intense bouquet of blackberries, plums and cherries with intense cacao and coffee notes. The palate is warm, dry and soft with an elegant structure and great persistence that confirms and amplifies the olfactory sensations. Best served with pastas with full body sauces, steak, game and matured cheeses.
